Q1. What is CNaVT?
CNaVT means Certificate for Dutch as a Foreign Language. The above-mentioned certificate is issued by the Dutch Language Union. Click here for more information.

Q2. Which language level is required, in order to join the list of candidates for CNaVT?
You can join the list of candidates for CNaVT as soon as you have reached level A2. Click here for more information about the different certificates.

Q3. Must I take lessons at ELITTRO in order to be admitted to a CNaVT exam?
Your chances of success concerning the CNaVT exam are determined after the free evaluation test. If you want to be admitted to a CNaVT exam, but without taking lessons, you are obliged to participate in an examination module.

Q4. When does the exam take place?
The exams are organised once a year in the beginning of May. The exact date will be announced in due time on our website.

Q5. When can I subscribe to take an exam?
The deadline to send the list of participants to the CNaVT is March 15. So if you want to subscribe to take the exam via ELTTRO, we strongly recommend you to contact us at last in the beginning of March.
